Biography
Dr. Udayan Gupta completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Government Dental College, Amritsar in 1997 and his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontics from Bapuji Dental College, Davangere in 2002. He began his academic career as a Senior Lecturer at Subharati Dental College, Meerut, and later served as a Senior Resident at GTB Hospital, Delhi. Since 2005, he has been a Professor at ITS Dental College, Ghaziabad. Dr. Gupta has also undergone specialized training with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has been instrumental in establishing implant and laser centers in academic institutions.
Research
Dr. Gupta has contributed to the field of periodontics and implantology through various research works and publications. Notably:- Periosteal Fenestration Vestibuloplasty Procedure: A technique for sulcus deepening in hemimandibulectomy patients following implant therapy.
